Enter Olio, an award-winning New England wedding venue!
Olio was built specifically to cater to New England weddings and couples with unique backgrounds and priorities. We not only welcome all by creating a gay-friendly venue, we actively seek out couples with diverse perspectives and stories. Our owner Sarah got her launch in weddings and has worked with hundreds of local couples over the last decade to make their wedding dreams come true. Having worked at many local venues, Sarah decided to launch her own, and Olio opened its doors in May 2019 to critical acclaim.
The nontraditional venue is perfect for a seated meal with onsite ceremonies of up to 200 guests and offsite up to 300 guests. We can host more than 400 guests for a standing or cocktail style reception.
The unique building is steeped in history, and recently modernized with upgrades like air conditioning, ADA accessibility, and 3-phase electric power. This allows couples to have all of the character of a unique New England venue while accommodating guests' needs. We love an indoor venue!
Our couples come from all over New England and from around the world. Located just north of Boston, the venue is conveniently located and easily accessible to Logan Airport and nearby accommodations and attractions, including Salem, Massachusetts.
